Timothy Burke arranged and conducted The World How Wide: a choral re-imagining of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, commissioned by Sage Gatehouse. Performed by Chorus of Royal Northern Sinfonia, Quay Voices and The World How Wide Community Choir, it was recorded remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic and filmed in North East England.


Resonus Classics’ recording of Sir Malcolm Arnold’s The Dancing Master with a cast including Catherine CarbyFiona Kimm and Mark Wilde has been selected by BBC Music Magazine as amongst “The best opera recordings released in 2020 so far,” as Editor’s Choice for November 2020 by Gramophone, as a Sunday Times Album of the Week and by BBC Radio 3 Record Review as Record the Week.
